Бизнес-задача и ее решение

Our goal was to recreate a historical moment of soviet cosmonaut astronaut Alexey Leonov conducting the first ever spacewalk. We wanted to make it possible for a user to live through the experience of Leonov's journey from spaceship Vostok-2 to outer space. To achieve this we used a series of panoramic 360-videos that were shot in the simulated 3D environment. We created a historically accurate virtual replica of the spacecraft Voshod-2 and used a large amount of real photography for the interior and exterior design. To make the experience even more immersive we used an original recording of radio communication between the crew for the spacecraft and the mission control center. On the final page of the project we placed a compilation of infographics, documental photography and the historical footage that completed the whole experience.

On March 18, 1965 during the Vostok-2 mission Alexei Leonov became the first man to exit a spacecraft and walk in space. This event opened a new era of space exploration, it made possible building the International Space Station, servicing space infrastructure and even walking on the Moon. We reconstructed this historical moment in a series of 360-videos visualizing every step Alexei Leonov took on his way from the spacecraft through the airlock and to outer space. These video content was complemented by archival recordings, documentary footage and infographics in order to fully recreate the context of the events.

В спецпроекте «Леонов, твой выход!» мы поэтапно воссоздали первый выход человека в открытый космос. Чтобы погружение было максимально достоверным, мы использовали уникальную архивную фото-, аудио- и кинохронику — в финале можно услышать легендарные слова: «Человек вышел в космическое пространство!». Завершает то небольшое космическое приключение инфографика, схема корабля «Восход-2» и подборка фактов о полёте.
